Sadie's Bday Part I and II

Oh, I can't believe this sweet little thing is 5. She is my baby and I'm not quite ready for it. But, she is allowed to grow up, I guess. She has grown into her own person, not ready to let anyone tell her how to be. I just love her so.

The first picture was taken on Saturday. She was allowed to open some family gifts since her daddy would not be home on her birthday. She is seen here modeling some lovely pearls she got from her grandma.

Second picture, she is showing off her new doggy named "Twinkle" that she created along with her sister and best friend Abby.

Aiden turned 6

OK, so this was back in May, but important none the less. Ryan was out of town, so we kept it pretty low key. But, we had fun, as you can see.

Julius, oh Julius

Julius, the old dog, managed to hurt himself this summer. He got a lovely 8 inch gash in his side (somehow). We suffered through some awesome healing and cone wearing. This is the only way I could get him to lay down the first day. Miserable!

Time at the Lake

We took a trip to the lake this summer. The house that we rented had a zip line in the back. I think the kids may have worn that rope out!
